They are working on 40 to 50% yield as a minimum, balancing asphaltene levels, with strong reference to market product specifications demand. I get the impression they might get to 50%+ ultimately.
I trawled through all the announcements the past two years yesterday and confirmed with Management this morning. The goal has always been 30%+ yield with liquefaction ( where the deleterious issues from retorting are not evident). So, now with 50% in sight, they have effectively smashed through the initial yield goal.
They believe higher yields from the Cannelite are feasible- but further testing will prove that one way or the other.
Pure speculation on my part- I think the testing is obviously important for the PFS but equally so with reference to our BIG potential customers who are quite probably very engaged already.
I agree that the comparison to the MFA stats was very understated.
