I think the biggest distinction between AML's IP and a company like Lincoln electric is the inert gas shielding which allows the printing to occur without being restricted to an enclosed space as picture here: https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/6039/6039787-63cace0a032f7b2e8cbb94cef11b2630.jpg
I think the metal wall in the background is merely a safety measure to keep people or any sort of objects clear of the printer. If you look at a Lincoln electric WAAM 3D printer you will notice that like a powder bed fusion machine it is restricted to an enclosed area part of the machine whereas AML's machine has no restrictions on space or build size. I think this is why Lincoln Electric hasn't printed anything weighing heavier than 200-300kg like the pressure vessel components printed for Chevron here - Word Gets Around: Lincoln Electric on TCT Award-winning refinery pressure application in partnership with Chevron - TCT Magazine.

I think AML3D has the world first on largest and heaviest components printed ever or at least I am unable to find a competitor that can print to the same size and scale. She also has the world first on every industry certification process besides AS9100D which she was the second company to achieve.

Either way this means nothing to the market ATM until she can deliver some more materially significant news. Had to do the due diligence though and research the competitors, IP and patent process a bit more. Couldn't stand the silence.
