I feel the phrase "pump and dump" is overused. When a stock is hyped up on false, misleading, or greatly exaggerated statements, that's a pump and dump. That’s not the case here. In my view, the stock was undervalued for some time. The article published by Next Investors gained traction and created momentum. This was a case of the broader market being captured, with day traders and FOMO investors pushing the share price further than probably fair value. What we then saw was a pullback due to profit-takers, the stock being overbought, a change in sentiment, and day traders capitalizing, etc.
