That being the case, I'm surprised at you acceptance of shorting and your comment regarding retail holder not getting hurt? I doesn't really fit with your experience which in many ways echoes mine and I dare say many others?
I have accepted that shorting is an unfortunate and gross fact of life dealing with the ASX and act accordingly but I cannot accept that the practices and tactics used are acceptable, if that makes sense.
Again, I totally agree with the other lessons and sentiments you have outlined that we can all learn from.
