Positive Experience with Tim Davidson – Long-Term View on Meeka Metals.
I wanted to share a recent experience from about 2–3 weeks ago. I had the chance to speak directly with Tim Davidson (CEO), and we covered a lot of ground over the course of what felt like an hour. I came away from that conversation very impressed—not just by his deep macro-economic understanding of the industry, but more so by his temperament and humility. I took the opportunity to thank Tim and his team for all their hard work.
Tim didn’t focus on his achievements or try to talk up the company. Instead, he turned the conversation around and took the time to thank investors
, saying that without us, none of this would be possible. I responded by saying it's a team effort
, and I genuinely believe that.It’s worth noting that Tim’s personal shareholding is reportedly around 10 times his salary, so he’s heavily aligned with shareholder interests. That kind of skin in the game speaks volumes.
To anyone stressing about short-term price fluctuations: if day-to-day moves unsettle you, maybe this stock isn’t right for you. But if you're in it for the long game, I believe this is a company in the making, built by a team of frugal, focused, and intelligent engineers who are deeply committed to bringing a vision to life that’s been years in the making. I, for one, am excited to see what unfolds.
