In December 2022 the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) awarded Perpetua $24.8 million under the Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III to support environmental and engineering studies necessary for permitting the Stibnite project.

In February 2024 an additional conditional award of up to $34.6 million was granted under the existing Technology Investment Agreement through DPA Title III, bringing total DPA funding to $59.4 million. This funding supports construction readiness activities and environmental studies as the project advances through the permitting process.

In August 2023 Perpetua received $15.5 million from the U.S. Army via the Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC) under an Ordnance Technology Initiative Agreement (OTIA) to test the feasibility of using materials from the Stibnite project to produce military-specification antimony trisulfide.

In May 2025 an additional $6.9 million was awarded by the U.S. Army through DOTC, supplementing the previous OTIA funding. This funding aims to further advance a fully domestic antimony trisulfide supply chain.

In April 2024, Perpetua received a letter of interest from the U.S. Export-Import Bank (EXIM) for a potential $1.8 billion loan to develop the Stibnite project. This prospective financing is one of the U.S. government’s largest investments in a mine and reflects efforts to counter China’s dominance in critical minerals.

Sorry, tried to bold the $$ amounts but formatting is not my strong point.

The US government wants antimony and will do what it must to make it happen, preferably from US based resources. IMO. DYOR.

That is categorically wrong... there is other companies in similar stage, actually further advanced than tmg, that could produce antimony in usa... they just don't have ppta's credentials...

Having said that, tmg's resource sounds more promising and less chance of failure for a decent resource...
