Re nationalizing assets, govts have done it for all types of reasons, preventing a companies collapse, protecting the environment from irresponsible or broke companies, gaining control of critical assets in times of war etc, etc. If you want examples, just look at Wikipedia under list of nationalisations by country. Knock yourself out.
It is entirely possible that the US loon could do it in the future, and as per his normal form, it would be for his own benefit rather than his own country. If it happened to the US assets then TMG and its share price would suffer as a matter of course.
It probably won't happen, but you never know with a scatterbrained, capricious loser in charge. Cheers
