Know and really understand the fundamentals of your investment. Know and understand the future need (globally) of your investment. Research the board and management of your investment. Understand the global location of your investment.
Like a bear, I will be hibernating for the Winter - bottom drawer, baby! My opinion only, it’s going to be very gloomy and ugly. Fear breeds fear which breeds panic. I’ve been there, done it - and retirement took another 10 years because I panicked when I didn’t need to (financially)
Crunch your own numbers. Tighten your belt. Research your portfolio again - understand your investment(s) and where it sits on the world stage for the future. Stop looking at the daily numbers. It really will do your head in.
IF your financial and life situation allows patience and or market opportunity - that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. When a terrific ANN comes out and there’s no huge SP surge, so be it. I’ll remember the fundamentals. The psychology of fear will only outwit those who follow the herd. Buckle up for the trolls who WILL enter the forum spreading the fear.
