If this teaches us anything valuable, is that now more than ever the west needs to secure its own reliable sources of critical minerals in stable sovereign western nations. I think china might have their nose out of joint because they have had the monopoly on some of these resources for a while now and new players entering the game is messing with their initially perceived narrative of holding the globe to ransom.
