Hi bombersmadd, I note those results were achieved using 99.99% carbon content PSG. Do you know if the purification method used was HF acid-free? I don't recall having seen 99.99% carbon content achieved using HF acid-free purification.

I do agree that shipping feedstock from one continent to another is not ideal. Ideally, mechanical shaping would occur at the mine as opposed to on a different continent. In a perfect world, purification would occur in the same location as where the purification reagents are produced, but that's perhaps unachievable in Australia.

Interestingly, CO² emissions are quite low for shipping. The key to reducing CO² is minimizing road transport, at least while we're utilizing diesel fuelled trucks.
