USA will not go to war with China over Taiwan, it is a war they can NOT win - both on the ground, logistics and much much more.... They will do the same as Ukraine & Russia supply weapons to opposition.
The world will suffer - yes, but the world will go on and critical mineral stocks and countries that have will continue to prosper.
USA / Europe already moving to on-shore CHIP making more & more away from Taiwan
USA / Europe already waking up to the critical minerals story and now deciding to buy products outside China / Russia etc - example batteries, and more...
China has been on this plan for long period, while others have been asleep at the wheel so to speak.
Last comment, not about size of country, it is about 'coalitions' (who join what side), damage to world economies, and what is at stake for the global countries in which if happens they will need to choose a side.
