I have been following Sandy Munro on youtube for several months, I thought below was interesting re EV adoption. Important thing is Tesla has adopted single cast casting for the rear section of the model Y, you can view Elon Musk being interviewed by Sandy Munro via Munro Live where he talks of this. Elon Musk said they removed 300 robots of 900 when they went single casting on the rear of the model Y. I think it will be easy for Tesla to introduce a low price EV option if they introduce these improvements and do it on the front and middle section.
