My colleague spoke with DC a few months ago with an offer to introduce fund managers interested in providing funding. DC advised that if the funds wanted a position, they would need to buy on market.
From that interaction, DC rose to the highest level in my mind that managment can get to....aligned with retail shareholders and NOT doing favours or looking after instos.
So I would not be surprised if the POSCO's of the world have been told that if they want a large position, buy on market.
We are not privy to the terms of the POSCOS non-binding MOU signed 25/8. For all we know It might allow POSCO to purchase 1 share in equity through company issue for each 1 share they purchase on market.
Those that cant see a multi billion market cap here in the medium term aren't looking hard enough.
