Capex and opex can be much better in Africa. Look at the capex blow out in WA lithium plants.
Still in for a nasty bit of news here on that - to be revealed soon. Though won't be half as bad as complex lithium plants.

Just because African countries don't want to be the pathetic losers the Aus government/people are having their resources flat out stolen for little benefit shouldn't be a reason not to invest there. Aside from that there are very few tier one resources left to be found in Aus. (RNU a very nice example though). Africa on the other hand...

There are pros and cons to investing in different places IMO.
