There are 25 patents covering their "HF free purification process", it has been examined by Int Patent Examiners and they said "...all 25 of the patent claims are novel and inventive" (their ann dated 08/11/2021).
Back to RNU, they have their own eco-friendly HF free purification process (ann dated 28/05/2021) as well but, it seems to be specific to their Siviour deposit whereas the other mobs 25 patents cover other graphite applications, battery recycling, etc
Perhaps RNU is verifying their HF free purification process isn't covered by the 25 patents - especially if RNU didn't publish much information about their technology.
Also, the other mob are trying to trademark "HF-free" - https://search.ipaustralia.gov.au/trademarks/search/quick/result?q=hf+free, they can trademark with "EcoGraf" in the name (which they have done) but it looks like "HF-free" has failed (not accepted) .............................
