In all honesty I'd be surprised if they would agree to a contract price ensuring profitability. I don't believe they would take on such risk (even though it's logical given the future shortfall).
I think there's a greater chance that they'd buy-out RNU. Although I appreciate that some OEMs have zero interest in getting into mining.
