The other thing i have wondered about, but haven't seen any commentary on, is the source of the oil that is being used to produce all the coke which is then being turned into synthetic graphite.
There is plenty of stories about how much Russian oil China is buying (example:https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-60783874), if you then process it into synthetic graphite, does that count as breaching international sanctions? Given the lack of comment, I'm assuming it doesn't?
