At least charge them something...I agree.
If they paid $5 like the rest of us it would have a dramatic effect on the bots. Even a $0.10c transaction cost would probably do the same.
Eliminate the single digit manipulation trades - which imo are just feeding shares from one hand to the other of the same entity - not a real sale/purchase by anyone new.
It's perfectly legal to sell a share from one company owned by me, to another company owned by me atm. With no transaction cost attached this opens the doors to manipulation of all stock.
Hard to resist if you have the funds to do it.
It's the game we are in unfortunately and unlikely to change anytime- I don't think anyone has the funding or will to stop this.
