No disrespect to Bangadeshis at all, it's just a region where Aussies would not normally pay attention to.
At some point though, some things you would not normally look at, you probably should start to.
Bangladesh: Population is ~167-173 Million, which makes it the 8th most populous on the planet.
It's immediate neighbour to the west is now the world's most populated country.
The sheer weight of people in the region is going to mean the number of battery powered devices in use is going to be phenomenal.
On a personal scale: Think mobile phones, power banks, water filtration, electric lanterns, electric bikes..
On a society scale: Currently its electricity mix is heavily FF skewed: https://www.iea.org/countries/bangladesh
I'd bet the clean energy transition powered by renewable and firmed by Li-ion batteries with heavy graphite content thematic has not even considered looking ahead to places like Bangladesh or India.
Earth is going to look like Coruscant in the not too distant future.
The WHOLE place is going to be electrified.
Renewables powered/battery firmed electrified.
Think about that...
