These must be in place before the FID and then construction. Not sure how long the PERP will take, it is never fast but getting the major Project Status will help that happen quicker than usual. Binding off takes sound like they are a bit further than I had hoped since DC said they still need the bulk samples “which are underway now” I thought they had been shipped already but not sure from what he said. I’m still hoping that the majority of funding comes from government bodies. Looks like the election will be held in March so hopefully an announcement on that will occur some time leading up to the election. So there is some hope that FID can occur by the end of the first quarter 2022. Value adding to our resources and especially in the green/EV space will be a good talking point for the election, who knows this may even give the PERP a kick along. DC said that hopefully “construction will be started by this time next year” so Q4(or something similar) whereas the timeline above has that occurring in Q2. Interesting that he mentioned “Green bonds” in the presentation, it would be great if they made up the shortfall from government funding. I might look into that a bit closer.

There is still lots to look forward to this quarter, the revised DFS should be awesome, that will probably come out this quarter with some luck, it should give things a kick along before the big announcements early next year. I have a funny feeling they need a bit more of a commitment from the MOU mobs before they can make a final decision on how big to go in the first stage. When we hit the highs earlier this year there was a bit of quiet than a flurry of announcements. Hopefully this is the quiet bit then the flurry comes early next year.

I for one am happy to wait a few months, for this, not much we can do anyway. 1000+% SP rise in a year is OK by me. Looks like we are forming a bloody good base for the next leg up. How far it can go before production is anyone’s guess. From what I have read recently the yanks and Europeans are just waking up to the fact that all of the battery production is coming from China and their auto makers may be screwed when it comes to obtaining materials and batteries for their cars, leaving them in a precarious position when competing and meeting their production targets and timelines. Hopefully they pull their fingers out and increase production of battery components in their countries and place more demand on our precious PSG.

On a side note the war drums are starting to beat, I think EVs are becoming more important in that space also so their are many many good reasons for them to ensure they have their own production of battery materials

Anyway DYOR as usual because Iike me most here are amateur commentators just trying to put all the pieces together. Hopefully with a few less twitter boom ramps, we get back to having good conversations here about where we are headed next. If anyone knows any good TA commentators, please direct them to this forum. Would love to hear more about that here.
