Thats true, it might be the likes of Ford etc will bring out their EV's harder and faster in Europe first? But then, EU will have their own regulations about the source of battery minerals, at least in the richer countries potentially. It does seem that there is nowhere to hide anymore, and manufacturers need to pull their finger out and invest in ex china battery mineral mining and processing.
