The underlying problem is the pricing manipulated by China. A producer needs to prove that as a business it is and it will be financially viable, an investor needs that proof too. Unfortunately this proof depends on current numbers & paper junk.
Western countries can NEVER compete with China in terms of cost and pricing. 99% businesses in China are controlled and supported by their central + local governments with unlimited funding. How could you compete?
