You are right on the money. For me I see it as a manipulated market, particularly for ev and battery minerals. I'm sure this has been happening since stock markets opened but I've really noticed it so clearly in the last few years. Particularly how media drives sentiment, causing pumps in stock prices. Now with China pricing on many materials the market is even more manipulated in the battery mineral space.
Previously the narrative was, EVs can't make it, they will flop. Then undisputable numbers came through, particularly with Tesla etc, so the ev transition could not be denied. Now, it's, inflation, intrest rates, recession, EV uptake slowing etc etc. All to strike fear into retail investors, big money is buying up at these Rock bottom prices, they know will double or triple from here on positive sentiment. Look at the billionaires investing in lithium + more. You won't find a positive thing about EVs and battery minerals in the mainstream media I am sure. I think give it a few months, and we will see how quickly sentiment turns when the big boys want to make a profit off their cheap share acquisition. All imo.
We have Rocks in the ground, cash in the bank, we just have to wait now. Looking forward to 40c+ once graphite prices recover and EV manufacturing increases in the next couple of years.
