You can still get driving pleasure in EVs - for example the precision of one pedal driving (and hearing your stereo properly); it's just a different skill to master.

Eventually though, ICE's throaty roars piss others off.
Take the example of waking the neighbours if you're heading out and revving the bastard in the cold early morning or coming back home late during sleeping hours. Pretty far from forking cool as was said in Pulp Fiction.
You may only appreciate this when yours is the sleep being interrupted, and you have a crappy next day.

Eventually we also have to question our place in the climate change equation.
Do I want to be part of the problem (continuing to burn FF when we know we should get off them) or be part of the solution?

Still not enough asking themselves: how much petrol did I burn this year compared to last year. Is it in line with what's needed to keep global temps below 1.5 increase?
BTW ignoring CC or passing it off as a hoax is a convenient 'someone else will do it/lead' crutch to avoid changing behaviour in time.
