Companies and people here in AU will have to get use to lower profits etc so that we are somewhat competitive with other countries. RNU won't be able to lock in any type of graphite products at silly high prices. We have ridden the primary production mining wave for far too long without any foresight that other countries have passed us and are now doing secondary processing of "their own" minerals.
There won't be a set price for any type of future graphite product that RNU produces. From Syrah ann (dated 01/03/24) and the Novonix ann (dated 09/02/24):
Price: Mutually negotiated on a quarterly basis over Term, referencing independently reported price indices for natural graphite fines, with adjustment for product grade and volume.
The mutually agreed upon pricing structure incorporates a mechanism for adjusting the price in response to significant changes in NOVONIX’s raw material costs.
We have cemented out standing as a banana republic that doesn't value education and doing business intelligently.
