Interestingly, the Export-Import Bank of the United States operates in a similar manner as Export Finance Australia, but with far larger resources and hence more power. Thus, it seems that MK is expecting that this Bank will increase US interest in our market. That could clarify why DC was invited as a MSP delegation and took a longer spell than normal.

We are fortunate to be an entirely Australian in-country project. Because we will supply Australian workers and pay royalties to the state, we will be preferred by our government, the Australian taxpayer and maybe eventually some large Aussie super funds in the future.
