He's essentially saying (not suggesting) that, when the May budget is released in a few weeks, a lot of foreign investments should flow into our companies that have access to Australia's critical minerals. The catch is that these investments can only be made by citizens/companies of like-minded nations.

The geopolitics of supply and security throughout the world are reaching a turning point, and it seems Chalmers is positioning Australia at the centre of global investment—but only if we 'agree' with you.
