I’m finding the conversations I’m having with middle Americans fascinating and am learning a lot about what makes them tick. It’s a big part of the reason I wanted to do such a big trip over here. Learning lots about their history, culture and politics. I enjoy sharing my insights also.

For anyone that cares, I was lucky enough to catch a Space X launch today at Cape Canaveral and going back tonight for a NASA manned launch. I’ve mainly been in tourist areas so far but on the whole I can’t believe how expensive things are over here. Most things are the same price as back home but in US dollars. The only things I’ve seen that are cheaper is fuel and spirits. Got a 1.75L bottle of 101 Wild Turkey for $33 US. Pot shops everywhere but that is more expensive than we pay back home.
