and the question I've been asking: is the U.S/West cap/able of competing with China? Christ I hope so. But being realistic, a look at their elections should tell us a great deal what the answer will likely be.
Yes the fta/Ira has been great news but we shouldn't hedge our bets on it. The West thinks small time frames and is immediate profits driven, other countries think in generational time frames. Our politicians think about the current election cycle, not the bigger picture.
