Seriously you are a numpty. The article says 1 in 4 cars sold in May ( ie. If 20,000 sold, 5,000 of them Hybrids or EV). Now, that suddenly doesnt equate to 1 in 4 cars out on the road now are Hybrid or Ev. A lot of us are out their driving around. And please dont use "visual" evidence in the middle of Australia as your choice of statistics. Get used to the idea, Electric cars by the bucketload are coming . Oh and car manufacturers really arent basing their projections on whether a few people in Australia have to travel long distances. Its the MILLIONS of car buyers who travel short distances in cities and congested countries ( ie. Europe) that is where the majority of the cars will be going. The Australian car numbers are INSIGNIFICANT to all the car manufacturers future plans.
