He has been outspoken on his disapproval of establishing local EV supply chain manufacturing when it is much more economical to acquire EV products from China (or wherever the comparative advantage is).

There needs to be some consideration for how rapidly the western graphite landscape might change for the worse should he get in power (most likely will).

I don't think trump would get rid of Ira either, it goes against everything he talks about regarding China. Big gas and oil, sure, but the USA needs to develop evs otherwise it will be left for dead on the world stage imo
