Synthetic graphite price continues to fall.

Benchmark Mineral Intelligence’s longer term view of #anode chemistry preferences has swung more in favour of #syntheticgraphite anode active material (AAM) this quarter, increasing demand and bringing the market deficit for synthetic AAM forward. This increase is driven by a robust supply pipeline and lower cost feedstocks, which have reduced synthetic AAM prices.

Prices for low and medium capacity synthetic AAM now trade below those of their #naturalgraphite AAM counterparts, and this trend is expected to continue into the late 2020s
