100%, i remember the WSJ coming up with some obscure figures and graphs trying to compare 'time on dealership floor' of ice vs ev to try to sell the same 'EV uptake is foundering' story. its important to stay on top of the mass media narratives because they are clearly part of the market manipulation (imo)
