Synthetic may have always been a player in the market but it has never reached price parity with Natural ever, until now.
They only major benefit of Natural over Synthetic was price and now in the last month that benefit just evaporated.
I can't see how this NEW single development won't crush the entire Natural graphite industry. I wish I was over exaggerating. I wish it was only temporary, being driven by some Chinese conspiracy but it seems more dire than that.
My research online highlights Synthetic has been ready for a price reduction for some time. It is more than likely this price is the new norm, just the result of overall battery improvements and cost reductions.
