We have now been through the phase of battery companies reducing quality of minerals to reduce cost! In my opinion we have found where the absolute minimum in quality is. And how much battery quality can be decreased in order to just get the battery through the warranty period.
In basic terms NCM batteries are stainless steel whereas LIFEPO4 is "iron" steel- we all know the difference in oxidation characteristics between the two. Poor quality materials oxidize and increase the internal resistance- high resistance equals heat. . . heat means fire!
