Model Y sales are down partly because buyers know there is a new model incoming, it has been spotted in camouflage getting tested on public roads. Insiders have reported that the Shanghai gigafactory is already being tooled for the new Y which means Australia will be one of the first western countries to get it. Looks like it could have a January release in China and possibly still Q1 in Australia.
