I've been trying to square all of this away myself. I think there is reason to believe you might not be far from the truth.
It feels extremely intentional that the plant is being pushed so quickly. Since the announcement, I've been wondering if its development and operation is an unspoken prerequisite to a significant deal with one of our potential partners.
With this project being the only one of its kind outside of China, I get the feeling that partners are not willing to settle for anything less than PSG itself (given that's what we have been shouting about all these years). They would be looking for confirmation that the plant can deliver, once that occurs, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of money gets pumped into it. The first of its kind, viable alternative producing PSG outside of China. That's nothing to scoff at in my opinion. Partners have a number of sources to get regular old Graphite from, but PSG is a different story.
I'm throwing every bit that I can into RNU, its just to good to pass up in my opinion.
