I'm not sure what 2024 graphite import stats into the US are (I looked but didn't find any info) so here are the 2022 details.

Maybe someone smarter than me can extrapolate what 600% increase means based on 2022 figures?

Some info from the IEA published May 2024 (source: https://www.iea.org/reports/graphite ) focusing on global statistics, not only U.S. I take from this that RNU's primary competitors are based in Mozambique, Madagascar and China with end product (battery grade) primarily China. If the IRA works it will enable companies insode the U.S and Japan (Japan being the country I previously said I thought RNU's product would target along with South Korea)

The IEA indicates that the lions share of graphite production will remain in the current top 3 producing countries through 2040. RNU just needs to kick in and join the game.
