- solid state batteries, sure there is news it's close. And this time it may be true, but at what cost, what will be the adoption by manufacturers be, will it replace all batteries or just premium models and how soon? Even if it does make market, it's highly unlikely it will be in all models rather than just premium models. Graphite will still have a role to play.
- battery farms large scale investment happening here and again graphite will still have a role to play.

1) current graphite over production in china is being assisted by govt subsidies. How sustainable is this? Has china done enough damage to delay and close down enough projects for them to pull back in the 12 -15 months before western countries (govt and downstream legacy auto?) step in with tariffs and subsidies for graphite of their own?
2) offtakes - there is definately interest but DC mentioned they have the same "mindset" but just can't get to a deal that's favorable to what dc feels is fair. His comment about the wrong offtake could set a mine back significant profit was telling. It's obvious he can sign one today, but it's not the one he wants. Alot of recent investment by downstream anode manufacturers and govt banks seem to reinforce this
3) construction we are pretty much go for fid and construction apart from finances - 3 things a) technical - we are already past requirement b) approvals and compliance - again progressed past requirement c) finance - the elephant in the room. We aren't there yet.
- large flake has been in deficit for a year, fine flakes still down but spherical has seen a recent uptick in pricing. Will this continue?
- graphite is still a critical mineral and supply chains need to be secured as an escalation with china trade war wise seems inevitable. Tariffs still in play for Jan 2026
- finally, the recent on market purchase by a director. Doubtful she's just decided to throw 17k down the drain when this much information is available to her at this late stage.

things may not turn around this month or next, but when u zoom out I don't see to much changing to make this project a fail or go to zero.
