More to the point, what we do know is that RNU has first mover advantage. It is a Tier1 project in a Tier1 location with all regulatory approvals to start mining. It is currently in discussions with at least 5 partners for binding offtake terms and ‘other groups’ – as RNU have alluded to, whoever they might be! In other words, they have highly desirable material.

Also, natural graphite will always be needed in part because it has the properties that synthetic doesn’t have, like better thermal and electrical conductivity plus a much smaller carbon footprint, making it cost-efficient for mass production on volume. It's just a question of whether the ratio is going to be 60/40 or closer to 50/50 synthetic to natural. If its a higher ratio then pity those that have invested in tier 2 projects located in basket-case countries.

Hi Mally, this is the sort of thing I was looking for. This from a NVX presentation a few years ago. It’s interesting that RNU don’t seem to have provided any info on this. Even when they did their 150 cycle test they didn’t provide it, just provided a bit of detail on the first 3 cycles and a bit on the coulombic efficiency.

Wonder why they didn’t provide it , though perhaps this is another industry standard measurement that you don’t think is relevant?
