Is it possible a computer is working on behalf of a human directing certain actions EG: reduce shares by X amount with minimal downward pressure on SP? Or add X amount of shares.
Some reasons buy/sell sides are stacked is to force sellers/buyers within a range. EG, If I (was able to) stack the buy side 1 pip under current price and the sell side at current price then anyone that buys must buy my shares at my price, but anyone that sells must sell to me.
Behind the computer, someone/some entity has directed it to do stuff. Much easier than sitting there doing it manually. Yes, likely a bot but was directed by a person to do something, liquidate/accumulate.
