@Bishkek2017 buyer signs contract for x number of tonnes for x number of time. I do not believe that RNU would sign a lengthy supply agreement they do not intend to uphold (ie, they somehow build the PSG plant overnight and need all the feedstock they can get).
I am sure everything would be ironed out.
my own view of the situation, currently supply is being met from china, buyers outside china may be trying to leverage cheap graphite prices to get a good deal for them. At some point supply will either be cut off or ESG standards for batteries / IRA etc may force supply from outside china. I can only imagine that miners leverage will only increase going forward, otherwise where is all the graphite going to come from? just my thoughts.
