What progress do you think could be made with the other assets we have? Within less time and money than just forging ahead, biding our time, waiting for more favourable conditions with the current play? I would certainly want to avoid jeopardising what progress we have made, for which has the highest chance for success, with revitalizing ventures we have effectively moth balled anyway.
In my opinion, its even more risky to pivot now to something else, or to take resources away from what our entire business model hinges upon at this point in time. Especially given the recent major happenings (SYR force majeure) and those hinted at for the future (further export restrictions from China).
But I am open to thoughts that counter those concerns I've outlined.
I can understand the trepidation that some might be feeling and I can even see how our current play looks like an "all eggs in one basket" situation. But we have to remain realistic and level headed.
Personally, I am buying this all the way down. If it turns out that was a mistake, then I get burned. But I never invest anything I cannot afford to lose.
