Water is essential to all industries, particularly those in the outback where multinationals like BHP and other projects are situated. For this reason, the SA government has proposed a massive desalination plant that may eventually run north through our property, starting only a few kms away. Here, there might be some synergies. Perhaps Peter Malinaukas has spoken with DC about this. Perhaps Shaun Verner has considered a plan B for feedstock for their Louisiana plant that they are still building. Who knows!
We can only conclude that Australia has stable communities, infrastructure, government support, money, and resources to finance such massive initiatives, whereas other countries are demonstrating their unreliability. Building trust takes decades and time is what they don't have.
