Since China banned graphite exports to the US for military use in December 1, the US Department of Defense cannot access Chinese graphite.
The US also has no domestic production of natural graphite. African supply is not secure and China is increasing their control of African supply.
So where will they turn to for secure graphite supply from an allied country?
Perhaps the DoD is looking to provide a grant to kick-start Siviour and get us into production.
