It describes how Australian Super blew more than $100m of investor cash in ASX-listed cobalt miner/refiner called Jervois Mining.

“ China flooded global markets with cobalt (a byproduct of nickel and copper mines), adding about 60,000 tonnes into a reasonably small 180,000-tonnes-a-year market. The supply came from one new mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The cobalt price more than halved to less than $US15 a pound, where it has remained since and the outlook is getting worse.”
The article mentions nothing of Australian Supers even larger investment in troubled SYR which recently declared a Force Majeure on their African based Graphite mine.
Clearly this is exactly what China is attempting to do in the Graphite sector and highlights the risk to RNU and underscores why the SP is where it is today.
