I think you have it exactly backwards in regards to nuclear. Graphite is an important component in many reactor designs. Putting that aside, RNUs target has no relation to that factor.

If anything, nuclear as a base load generator would only increase the capability of the grid to support the EV industry demand.

Unfortunately as much as I would love for nuclear to become the go to for base load generation. I feel its still firmly the belief of many that it should be shunned at all costs.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the world moves on from this out dated response to nuclear. It would be the smart choice.
