    Not sure what other graphite companies could supply at the time agreements were inked, SYR was a producer so this makes sense. Agreed re turmoil in Africa.

    I still do believe DC has and is doing what can be done. Other than graphite industry question mark and the SP, RNU relatively is not in a bad place. Another article on that site suggests significant graphite price increases to come over the next 2 years but also suggests localized raw material production of anodes in North America - this is what I called isolationism and protectionism in a previous post.

    I do not know what the required construction timeline is, but I assume it must start this year in order to fulfill PSG production according to BAM update. I also assume RNU must have binding off-takes in place before construction to secure FID/financing et al. A linked article also stated Sth Korea only has a few months of supply of graphite for their anode production, so yes, they will be (likely) looking around for serious suppliers now. I don't see it as good news if yet another non RNU supplier is signed in near term. Just being realistic on how important I think this next 6 months will be.
