    Very reluctantly to agree with you that this might be the only viable option for all Western countries unless we all unite and start a full on trade war with China - who will ultimately win and how do you define the win remains questionable.
    Technology we can learn, we can R&D, we can even steal, though this takes time, is doable.
    Labour and cost of lives? You just can't compete with China on price, you can't, you can't.
