ITC found enough evidence for the commerce department to proceed with the china graphite dumping investigation and potential tariff. Anyone about to reply saying that western graphite producers aren’t competitive as they need a 920% tariff don’t bother. A short google search will tell you that Chinese anode producers margins are extremely thin and the recent 40% jump in pet coke would make them unviable at these prices.
All IMHO and I don’t know anything so don’t take this as financial advice.
